DCHC: Born in Amsterdam in 2016
The Dutch Card House Company was born from a simple belief: details make desire. We create premium playing cards where design, tactility, and craftsmanship meet, made for collectors, brands, and anyone who wants a deck that feels like a luxury object.
Founder Jannieke van Geet brings a rare mix of worlds: she’s also the co-founder of the luxury watch brand Ligure Watches, a canvas artist, and an interior designer; praised for her eye for detail and versatility. That same signature precision lives in every line, finish, and unboxing moment she creates.
DIAMON: Where it all started
DIAMON was our first Kickstarter-funded deck, and the start of everything. Back in 2015, Casper van Geet (Jannieke’s son and a passionate cardist) had one goal: create his own deck of playing cards. With his mom Jannieke as the designer, they sat down together and brought the vision to life; designing DIAMON No. 2 detail by detail. That first launch didn’t just create a deck. It sparked a movement that became The Dutch Card House Company, now known worldwide for premium design, standout finishes, and decks made to be handled and collected.
PAISLEY: Hidden Marking System
Collectors and magicians around the world are obsessed with our PAISLEY Playing Card Collection, and for good reason. Inspired by the timeless Indian paisley pattern, the design hides a secret: a custom-built code woven seamlessly into the artwork. Nothing looks out of place, yet everything means something.
We challenge you to find it.
The code is almost impossible to spot, even when you know it’s there, making PAISLEY as beautiful for collectors as it is powerful for performance. With multiple variants and finely crafted details across the collection, PAISLEY isn’t just another deck, it’s a signature piece. One you don’t just use… you need in your collection.
SCENTED: A Ritual in a Deck
The HAMMAM ritual is a centuries-old Turkish experience of relaxation and purification. A warm marble in gentle steam, surrounded by clouds of silky soap, while scrubbing and massage ease you into complete calm. Sandalwood blends with fresh mint and eucalyptus, pure luxury that refreshes both body and mind. Capturing that feeling in a deck wasn’t easy. We partnered with a specialized Italian fragrance lab, but printing inks and blended scent compounds don’t naturally mix without affecting the print or the aroma. So we developed a unique production method that anchors the fragrance into the cards for a lasting result. After months of testing and fine-tuning, we created our soft, authentic HAMMAM scent, subtly present with every shuffle, like a mini ritual at home. SCENTED from DCHC
SECRET TALE: The Untold Legends
What if the stories you know… were only half the truth? SECRET TALE opens the door to a magical world that never existed—yet feels real from the first card. Meet Robin Hood’s sister, fall under King Arthur’s curse, witness Ragnar Lothbrok struck by an enchanted bee, and follow Cleopatra, bound to a serpent by pure hatred. These are all stories written by us, and fully designed into the SECRET TALE series. Each deck is a new chapter, cinematic, mysterious, and packed with detail, pulling you into a journey of adventure, discovery, and hidden lore.
NEW: BOARDGAME HARBOUR OF FORTUNE
We’re blending board game strategy with true cardplay in our upcoming KICKSTARTER project: a board game built around four complete decks of premium playing cards. Rooted in Amsterdam and shaped by our New York spirit, the game lets four rival families build, trade, and grow their influence in New Amsterdam—the city that will become New York. Every shuffle drives the story, every play changes the map, and every decision pushes you closer to legacy.
